Dr. Laura Schlessinger on the N-Word - Her New Book

On August 10th Dr. Laura Schlessinger berated a black female caller on her nationally syndicated radio show who made the mistake of asking for advice on how not to be resentful when her white husband and friends make racially insensitive comments. Instead of allowing the caller to continue, Schlessinger  accused her of being hypersensitive, of going "NAACP" on her, called her "sucky," and used the word "nigger" a total of sixteen times.
Schlessinger 's reaction was confounding to most, however, she may have simply been promoting her new book:
It should be noted that Schlessinger issued an apology from her website on August 12th, not for her actions or the sentiment of her statements, but for saying the word out loud and repeatedly.
Dr. Laura's new book, Why I Love the N-Word & How You Can Too will be in bookstores in time for Kwanzaa.
